This free Yahoo! Tool will show you how many times in the previous month Yahoo! users used different words for searches.  It shows variations so try just putting in one word (eg ‘house’ instead of ‘houses for sale’) and it will show you all the different phrases around that word.

As a general rule, if you multiply the number shown for a phrase by 5 you will have a rough estimate of how many times that phrase was used last month across all the Search Engines.  (Yahoo! and affiliates represent roughly 20% of the Search Engine market)
